Okay based on that picture alone people should vote Longo into the All-Star game. I cannot look at that thing and not laugh. We need to make this shit happen so vote and vote often dammit. LOLgo demands it.

How about Fresno St. y'all? If that is not a feel good storyline, I have no idea what is. This, THIS RIGHT HERE, is why I love this game so much.

It was Latin Day in the Trop for the Festival Latino in Tampa and all the number were pronounced in Spanish and the guy constantly called Uggla Dan Ugg. I just wanted to share that so everyone could see Dan's mug shot. It was like those Jesus pictures with the eyes that follow you everywhere you go. For reals. The game wasn't that great, but I blame that on the Fish losing, BUT I got to have ice cream in a helmet so all in all the night was decent.

I just spent six and a half fucking hours in the ER with Geoff because I sliced the base of my thumb on my terrorist fist jabbing hand fucking opening, y'all. And the only reason I went was because Geoff forced me to; if it was up to me I would have just tossed a bandage and been done with it. I have two stitches holding it together and the numbness from the topical shot has worn off and it hurts like a bitch. That, along with six hours of work, was my day, my friends. Ugh.

Also, thanks friends list for making my day that much better and informing me Trotsky is a Met now. Thanks a lot.

Oh! I was looking through past entries and found this. That last sentence, by gosh. :D

Addy got drafted in the 17th round... by the Yankees. I don't know how how I feel about this. Eh, I'll go with being happy, but on the of chance that he even makes it out of the minors and isn't traded away, I am still not going to pretend to like it. But yay, go Addy! In other news, Ryan was selected as Collegiate Baseball Newspaper's 2008 Freshman Player of the Year and a freshman All-American. I am so proud of my boys!

So instead of working on my story for Creative Writing I decided to look through every Sox blog known to man for Spring Traing pics. While taking this much needed break I ran across the following pic of "Baby Jesus in cleats" posted on Center Field.



Oh hay thur Jacoby turning me into a puddle of fangirl and drool. Only negative about that picture is it is all sorts of cute and makes me forget that I'm actually a couple years younger than him and not the other way around.
